ABKÜNDIGUNG OPEN LICENSE --> OnPrem Lizenzen in CSP

Wir unterlaufen stetig Änderungen in der Microsoft Lizenzierung. Microsofts neuste große Ankündigung ist bezüglich der Abkündigung des Open License VL Programms im Januar 2022 und die Bereitstellung von OnPrem Lizenzen in CSP über unseren Cloud Marketplace StreamOne. Testen Sie es gleich aus! Denn bei Tech Data sind die OnPremise Lizenzen über das CSP Programm bereits jetzt verfügbar.

Cloud Solution Provider program changes: Perpetual Software in CSP

• Targeting January 2021, partners enrolled in the Cloud Solution Provider program will be able to sell commercial perpetual software licenses for on-premises deployment through CSP. This will give customers the licensing flexibility they need as part of their digital transformation.
• FY21 Cloud Solution Provider program incentives, coupled with a partner’s value-added services, enable greater profitability and margins for partners.

Open License program changes: Open License Retirement

• Commercial customers won’t be able to buy new or renew software licenses or online services through the Microsoft Open License program as of January 1, 2022. This gives commercial customers 15 months to plan for this change. All future purchases will be moved to the Cloud Solution Provider program, Open Value or Open Value Subscription, or other volume licensing program. Customers will continue to have full rights and access to all software licenses acquired under Open License and Software Assurance coverage will apply through the end of the active term.
• Starting December 31, 2020, the Open incentive program for Managed Resellers and Commercial Distributors will no longer be offered.
• Note: There are no plans to change the Open Value or Open Value Subscription programs.
